Our Services

We have tooling in stock for the Geoprobe 8040DT, as well as the 6620DT, to reach depths of 100 feet.  Additional tooling is available on short notice if deeper boreholes are required.

We specialize in Electrical Conductivity Logging.  The EC system gives the investigator real-time, on-screen logs, allowing onsite decisions.  The information is spreadsheet compatible for multiple site data storage.

We provide multiple push sampling options:

equipment
  • MC5 – Macro Core Sample system.  The samples are encased in a 1-5/8” clear PVC tube.  The tubes can be cut open and sampled on location, or capped and shipped to a lab for analysis.
  • DT325 - This is a 3-1/4” diameter, dual tube system, and samples are encased in 2” clear PVC tubes. The primary advantage with this system is the borehole remains cased throughout the entire sampling process, which results in a 100% accurate, non contaminated sample (no mixing of any portion of the materials throughout the entire depth of the borehole).
  • DT45 – This is a 4-1/2” diameter system and the samples are collected in a 3” clear PVC tube.  The primary advantage of the DT45 option is that Standard Penetration Testing (SPTs), as well as 2” Monitoring Well installations can be completed through the tooling while the borehole remains cased, resulting in 100% accurate testing and well c/w sand-pack installations.  This design reduces SPT and Monitoring Well Installation time by as much as 30% to 50% compared to conventional drilling methods.  As a result, the Client can achieve significant project cost reductions that have previously been unachievable.

We also offer conventional 4-1/2” solid stem auger, as well as 4-1/2” hollow stem auger options if the Client or Consultant prefer.

The key feature to the success of the Geoprobe design, compared to opposition designs, are the powerful hammers; the GH80 on the 8040DT and the GH62 on the 6620DT.  These hammers operate at 32 blows per second (32 Hz) and deliver additional push force to the tool string in excess of 100,000 lbs.
